Manual Wafer Mounter P-200 / P-300

Manual Wafer Mounter P-200 and P-300 from POWATEC GmbH.

POWATEC wafer mounter Model P-200 allows bonding of films on wafer / substrate and frame in a single pass. The wafer is held by vacuum during the mounting process to an antistatic frits (carbon). This frits protects the wafer surface during the adhering process and absorbs any dirt particles. Using a rubber roller, the foil is mounted bubble free. With the cutting device, the film is cut on the frame and separated by the transverse diameter of the film roll.

Three pneumatic pins center the wafer and a special vacuum chuck keeps the wafer in place during laminating. Using a rubber roller, the foil is mounted bubble free. The POWATEC Curing systems are built to cure wafers and frames up to  8".
The LED generates a wavelength of 365 nm with an optical power output of maximum 750 mW.

Open the cover and put the wafer on the left side conveyor. Push the start button. The wafer moves over the LED unit to the right side. Curing is completed after about 20-30 seconds, yielding a consistent throughput of 130-180 frames/hour. Fully adjustable curing time ranges between 15 seconds and 3 minutes.
